The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear on Tuesday the fresh plea of former Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson Nupur Sharma seeking revival of her withdrawn petition seeking clubbing of first information reports (FIRs) lodged in several states over her remarks on Prophet Muhammad in a TV debate show.
Justice Bose is the Chief Justice of Jharkhand high court whereas Justice Bopanna is the Gauhati high court Chief Justice.
The bench said that the only question is that determination of the category should be in a scientific manner and it appreciates that the Centre has taken a decision to revisit the criteria earlier fixed.
The four names cleared by the government are justices Aniruddha Bose, A S Bopanna, B R Gavai and Surya Kant.
