Japanese auto major Honda has changed the name of its Indian operations to Honda Cars India Ltd following the break up of its joint venture with Usha International of the Shriram Group.
So far the company has sold about 80,000 units of Honda Amaze and 30,000 units of 4th generation Honda City.
It has lined up formidable product line.

The Amaze, Honda's first diesel car in India, has seen several buyers line up for test drives and dealers struggling to meet increasing demand.
Honda Cars India Ltd would be able to manufacture only 4,000-5,000 units of Amaze per month this year as its limited by the current production capacity, company's senior vice-president (sales and marketing) Jnaneswar Sen said at the car's launch in the city.
With an all-diesel line in India, it is desperate to bring the small capacity diesel engine it has developed independently, by the parent company.
While petrol starts at Rs 499,000 and goes up to Rs 760,000, the diesel variant is priced between Rs 599,000 and Rs 760,000.
Honda Cars India Ltd on Tuesday launched an all new version of its sports utility vehicle CR-V which will be cheaper by up to Rs 270,000 from previous model as the company looks to strengthen foot hold in the Indian market.
It sold 1,218 units of its flagship City and 2,199 units of its small car Brio.
The company had sold 4,758 units in the same month last year.
The revised prices will be effective from October 1, 2012.
The latest recall will impact models which were manufactured in 2013.
