Addressing his party workers in Nagpur, the home turf of Fadnavis, Thackeray on Monday said the BJP leader, his former ally, was a taint on the city as he had aligned with a section of the Nationalist Congress Party despite asserting that he would never do so.
Sudhakar Badgujar, the leader in question, denied the allegations while speaking at a news conference in Nashik.
'Not just Maharashtra, the Congress has not fielded even one Muslim candidate from Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Goa.'
While Uddhav Thackeray will address his party's Dussehra rally at the sprawling Shivaji Park in Dadar, the traditional venue of the event where Bal Thackeray charged up his workers with his fiery oratory for more than four decades, Shinde's rally will be at Azad Maidan in south Mumbai.
Raut was referring to the recent war of words between state ministers Chhagan Bhujbal and Shambhuraj Desai.
"One nation, one law can be understood. But we will never accept one nation, one party plan of the BJP", Thackeray said.
