Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has been slapped with sedition charges in Kanpur sessions court for his 'intolerance' statement and the hearing is set to take place on December 1.
"We r proud of u @aamir_khan," the Delhi chief minister wrote on Twitter along with the picture of statement issued by Khan.
"I really love the country... That's how I am. It is rather unfortunate if some people feel that way. I want to assure everyone that it's not the case so please don't boycott my films, please watch my films," Aamir said.
The film has been directed by Jhansi Lakshmi and Shital Morjaria, former colleagues on TV shows Naveena and Chetana.
