An HIV patient in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, died after reportedly jumping from the fourth floor of a state-run hospital. The patient, who also suffered from tuberculosis, had been admitted on March 16 and had previously attempted to jump from a window.
The police had arrested and forwarded a boy to the remand home after the victim alleged he had raped her in Parsudih, on the outskirts of the steel city, a couple of days ago following which the girl was admitted to the hospital by the police.
