A father and son were killed, and four other family members were injured when their car fell off a bridge in Bhilwara district, Rajasthan. The accident occurred near Vijay Gaushala under Gulabpura police station limits. The family was returning from Sanwaliya Seth temple in Chittorgarh when the driver lost control of the vehicle.

Two ice cream factory workers in Korba, Chhattisgarh were allegedly tortured by their employer and his aide who pulled out their nails and administered electric shocks on suspicion of theft. The victims, Abhishek Bhambi and Vinod Bhambi, were hired through a contractor to work at the ice cream factory owned by Chhotu Gurjar. The duo was stripped, given electric shocks, and their nails were pulled out, and a video of the torture has gone viral. The victims escaped and filed a complaint with police in Rajasthan, leading to a case being registered in Korba against Gurjar and his associate Mukesh Sharma.
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday said religion and politics are different things and one need not mix them.
"Clashes broke out between two groups during a religious procession on Friday following which curfew was imposed in Gulabpura and Asind," District Collector Onkar Singh said.
