The cloud of uncertainty hanging over the fate of 4 per cent reservation in educational institutions for the backward groups of Muslim minority in Andhra Pradesh has finally been cleared by the Supreme Court. In its interim order passed on Tuesday, the Supreme Court has allowed Andhra Pradesh to give admission to students under BC "E" category in professional colleges including medical and engineering colleges.
