The Delhi high court on Tuesday dismissed a petition seeking the National Investigation Agency probe in the Jawaharlal Nehru University sedition case.
The journalist, identified as Anwar of news channel CNN IBN, said despite heavy police deployment, clashes erupted in the court complex and the cops' presence did not deter the lawyers from shouting slogans and fighting with journalists and students.

The duo, who is lodged in jail since February 23, has sought bail on the ground of parity with JNUStudent's Union President Kanhaiya Kumar, saying he has already been granted bail and the incident did not attract charges of sedition.
