Toyota Gazoo Racing, the Japanese car maker's motorsport division, will become title sponsor of the Haas Formula One team next season in a deal that strengthens an existing technical partnership.
Formula One has agreed to accept two new teams, including a U.S. entry proposed by NASCAR team owner Gene Haas, commercial supremo Bernie Ecclestone said on Sunday.
Formula One has not had a woman driver start a race in nearly 40 years and Danica Patrick, who nearly tested for Honda in 2008, has been through the rumour mill many times already.
Formula One has lost another of its principals.
