The Pro Kabaddi player auction netted a consolidated price of Rs 46.99 crore for 227 players selected over two days of intense bidding between 12 franchises.
The iconic player concluded a historic 15-year career, where he has led several teams to victory and grown the sport in the country.
Kabaddi may now be behind only cricket in the popularity stakes.
