Former Ultimate Fighting Champion Ronda Rousey will pose nude in this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue and this confirmed all the speculations churned by the rumour mills.
The guessing game began two days ago when an editor from Sports Illustrated posted a picture on Instagram hinting at the news.
Rousey will join an elite club of body-painted swimsuit models in the 2016 issue and she will be wearing nothing but paint!
Rousey has confirmed the news, letting her Instagram followers know she was photographed in nothing but body paint for the issue, which is scheduled for release next month.
The 28-year-old mixed martial artist wrote, "Secret's out - so here's a free preview of this year's 2016 SI swimsuit issue ... I was one of the lucky few chosen to be a canvas for a hand painted masterpiece by @joannegair that took 14 hours to put on and photographed by the brilliant @fredericpinet - these are just behind the scenes shots taken with a phone's camera, can't wait to show you guys the final pics the when the issue hits stands!"
The 28-year-old was sensationally beaten by Holly Holm at UFC 193 on November 15, and has tried to remain out of the public eye since.
The former bantamweight champion sparked interest when she became the first Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter to appear in the popular annual issue in February last year.
It's the second year in a row Rousey has featured in the swimsuit edition. But last year she was wearing a bikini, so this issue is expected to sell even better.
