Dissatisfied with the Nanavati commission's report and the action taken report of the government, the Bharatiya Janata Party said on Monday that the National Democratic Alliance would seek the intervetion of President A P J Abdul Kalam to prosecute all those involved in the 1984 anti-sikh riots.

"The NDA would constitute a committee which would study the commission's report in detail. After studying the report, it will approach President Kalam to seek action against those involved in it (the riots)," BJP leader V K Malhotra told reporters.

He said, although a Parliamentary debate would take place on the report, the NDA would raise this matter in both the houses later in the day.

Meanwhile, slogan-shouting Akali Dal members rushed into the well of the Lok Sabha demanding action against those indicted by the Nanavati report, forcing adjournment of the House for an hour.  They shouted "shame, shame" and said "we want justice".
