Madonna's charity investigated for funds misuse

An educational charity of Madonna's, Success for Kids, is being investigated by the FBI over claims of financial mismanagement.

Madonna, 52, chairs the charity, but it is not clear to what extent she is involved in the investigation by the FBI for "several irregularities and suspicious activity'.

The singer has donated 671,000 dollars since it was founded in 2001, and she has also persuaded a string of celebrity friends to give generously.

The development comes a week after it emerged that the Material Girl had to scrap plans to build a school in Malawi due to financial mismanagement by another of her charities.
