PIX: The Last Harry Potter Premiere

It was one of those rare star-studded and high-voltage red carpet events and righfully so. Pottermania struck fans and stars alike as the last installment of the iconic series -- Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 -- had a world premiere in Trafalgar Square, in central London, last night.
The famous trio -- Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) -- poses for pictures as they make their way for the screening.

The woman who made it all happen -- author JK Rowling -- arrives with her husband Neil Murray for the premiere.

Emma Watson, 21, outdid herself when it came to her chosen outfit for the evening. The actress looked resplendant in an Oscar de la Renta tulle dress.

It was a remarkable night for fans too as this marks the end of an era. Thousands of fans gathered at Trafalgar Square to get a glimpse of their favourite actors and maybe an autograph or two.
