A huge fan of Shabana Azmi's, Alia Bhatt plays her granddaughter in Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
Now, the director is preparing his darling protégée how she must do her scenes with the formidable actress.
"Acting is not a kabaddi match," Shabana tells Subhash K Jha.
"It's all about team effort. It's very important to have co-stars who are on the same page."

Shabana says she is really looking forward to working with Alia and Ranveer Singh.
"This is the first time I am working with Karan Johar, Jaya Bachchan, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. I've always been a fan of Jayaji. Ranveer and Alia are extraordinarily talented. I am looking forward to working with them."
