President Kalam condoles Dr Rajkumar's death

President of India A P J Abdul Kalam has condoled the death of the Kannada veteran superstar Rajkumar, who passed away on Wednesday due to cardiac arrest in Bangalore.

In a condolence message to the late actor's wife, Smt Parvathamma, the President said, "In the passing away of Dr Raj Kumar we have lost a versatile film actor. His talent was recognised by the Dada Saheb Phalke Award. He will always be remembered for his everlasting contributions to the film industry."

President Kalam also sent his heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family.
