Vogue India will be the 17th edition of the style bible. Priced at Rs 100, Vogue India will be a monthly with October as its launch issue available across 40 towns.

The first cover of Vogue India has been graced by faces that are adored both in India & abroad -- Bipasha Basu, Gemma Ward, Priyanka Chopra, Monikangana, Preity Zinta and Laxmi Menon. Each of them favourites in the world of fashion, beauty, and Bollywood, the Vogue cover girls have been shot by Patrick Demarchelier, one of the world's leading fashion photographers.
Styled by one of Vogue's most respected fashion directors, Lucinda Chambers from British Vogue,
the models wear clothes by Roberto Cavalli, Valentino, Gorgio Armani, Chanel, Christian Dior and Gucci for the shoot.
Bollywood starlets Preity and Bipasha said, "Being shot for the first issue was an exhilarating experience for us. We had the best of the Indian and international fashion industry working with us on the shoot."
The inaugural issue has writing on subjects by some of the most celebrated writers of the day along with the mesmerising collection of fashion photography.
