In a related development, the board of directors of Lakshmi Auto Components will meet on October 17 to consider a proposal for the merger of the engine components division of the company with TVS Motor Company.
The meet will also consider a proposal to transfer the undertakings of rubber and plastics divisions to Sundaram Auto Components, according to a release issued to the BSE on Monday.
