- Target Plus Scheme scrapped
- Focus Product & Focus Market schemes introduced
- Precious metal & stones imports to be made easier
- Import of new vehicles by component mfrs made easier
- Clear guidelines for import of GM crop inputs
- Food supplies to internat'l flights treated as exports
- Advance Licensing and DFRC schemes clubbed
- New scheme called Duty Free Import Authorisation scheme
- Export Promotion Credit Guarantee scheme made flexible
