Supply chain management firm TAKE Solutions has acquired US-based consulting company 4BSoft for $ 1million in an all-cash deal.

"The acquisition will enable TAKE Solutions to strengthen its competence in the data warehousing and business intelligence domain as well as promote the flagship product TAKE RTE in the US market," TAKE Solutions' founder Srinivasan H R said.

4BS, which has a client portfolio of reputed names like Panasonic, currently employs 25 people. All the employees will now become a part of the TAKE Solutions team, he said.

"The acquisition will enhance our delivery platform for customers in the Asia-Pacific region and further augment our existing client base in the US," Srinivasan said.

Krish Vaidyanathan, founder and president of 4BSoft, said the acquisition was a perfect fit from a product and market perspective.

The synergies accruing from this transaction would lead to a stronger and more competitive positioning, and an expanded customer base for the company, Krish said.

TAKE Solutions, which is estimated to cross a turnover of $10 million this fiscal, has about 220 employees in six locations across the globe. The Chennai centre employs about 120 people.

4BSoft has software development centres in USA and India.
