Biotech major Biocon Ltd's net profit for the quarter ended June 2004 zoomed by 112 per cent at Rs 48.6 crore as compared to Rs 22.9 crore in the first quarter
of the previous fiscal.
Revenues for Q1 (April-June 2004) surged by 65 per cent to clock Rs 177.9 crore compared to Rs 107.6 crore in the same period last year, a company statement said.
