Reliance Retail unveils 'Reliance Digital'

Reliance Retail on Monday unveiled 'Reliance Digital' here, its third consumer electronics mega store in the country, after successfully launching it in Delhi and Mumbai, a company official said on Monday.

The store built around the Reliance Retail's core philosophy of customer centricity, is a one stop shop for all technology solutions in the field of consumer electronics, home appliances, information technology and telecommunications.

Spread over an area more than 23,000 sqft, the store will offer over 4,000 products of more than 150 brands along with the recommended solution bundles to meet the diverse customer needs, said Ajai Baijal, president & chief executive, Reliance Industries (CDIT) business.

Pioneering a service trend in the country, Reliance Digital introduced 'RelianceresQ,' an end to end solution to all technology products. RelianceresQ, through a network of in-house service centres will provide the consumers with pre-sales and post-sales support services, he told reporters.

The mega store which will remain open seven days a week from 10.30 am to 9.30 pm, will continue to offer all its customers RelianceOne, a common membership and loyalty programme across all its formats, following the philosophy of 'Earn Anywhere, Spend Anywhere.'

Reliance Digital will also provide easy and attractive finance options for the purchases, Baijal said.

By and large Reliance digital will be large format stores spread across 15,000 to 35,000 sqft involving an investment of around Rs 5 crore (Rs 50 million) and will come up in 70 cities across India, he said.
