Tractor sales have gone up on the back of a good monsoon, according to Anand Mahindra, vice chairman and managing director, Mahindra & Mahindra.
"This is evident in the Gujarat market, which has recovered considerably. Although the wholesale figures are not very robust yet, the retail market is looking up and aiding industry correction," Mahindra said at the sidelines of a function organised by the National Institute of Industrial Engineering to confer the Lakshya award.
Kumarmangalam Birla, chairman, Aditya Birla group and Adi Godrej, chairman, Godrej group, were conferred the Lakshya Business Visionary Award by NITIE for exemplary achievements in industry.

"Anybody can dream, it is the accomplishment of that dream that matters," he added.
