Housing Development Finance Corporation has posted a 29 per cent jump in net profit to Rs 236.05 crore (Rs 2.36 billion) for the third quarter ended December 31, 2004 as compared to Rs 182.81 crore (Rs 1.82 billion) for the quarter ended December 31, 2003.
According to a release issued to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the total income has increased from Rs 747.22 crore (Rs 7.47 billion) in Q3-03 to Rs 848.01 crore (Rs 8.48 billion) for the quarter ended December 31, 2004.
