Gail Q3 net up Rs 635 cr

Gail India has posted a 64 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 635.28 crore (Rs 6.35 billion) for the third quarter ended December 31, 2004 as compared to Rs 386.98 crore (Rs 3.86 billion) for the quarter ended December 31, 2003.

According to a release issued to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the total income has increased 24 per cent from Rs 2924.35 crore (Rs 29.24 billion) in Q3 FY04 to Rs 3614.59 crore (Rs 36.14 billion) for the quarter ended December 31, 2004.
