Rajiv Bajaj was on Wednesday appointed the joint managing director of Bajaj Auto Ltd.
The board approved his appointment at a meeting held in Pune, Bajaj Auto said in a statement in Mumbai.
Rajiv, who is BAL chairman and MD Rahul Bajaj's elder son, had joined the company as officer-on-special duty on December 19, 1990, and is currently its president and director, it added.
