Alex Wilcox is still Kingfisher COO

The UB Group on Tuesday said that chief operating officer and president of Kingfisher Airlines, Alex Wilcox had not resigned, and he has been given "reasonable time" to resolve some personal matters.

"Alex has not resigned", chief financial officer of the group A K Ravi Nedungadi told PTI in Bangalore on Tuesday.

"His wife has not been able to adjust to India, so, we have told him to try and resolve that issue. We have given him a reasonable time to resolve it", he said.

Industry circles were abuzz with rumours that Wilcox, a former JetBlue top executive, now in the US, had resigned owing to differences with group chairman Vijay Mallya.
