The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the application for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020. 

From 2020, NEET will be the single entrance exam for all undergraduate medical courses in the country including the All India Institute of Medical Sciences and JIPMER.

The pen and paper based exam will be held on May 3, 2020 in as many as 2,546 exam centres across 155 cities in India.

This year, the NEET 2020 prospectus has been released in six different languages -- English, Assamese, Kannada, Marathi, Odia and Tamil.

How to apply

While applying for NEET 2020, aspirants will have to upload their class 10 passing certificate along with a passport size photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression.

The file size of your photograph should be between 100 kb to 400 kb.

The application fees for general category is Rs 1,500; for SC/ST/PwD/transgender, the registration fees is Rs 800 and for OBC-NCL/general-EWS, it is Rs 1,400.

Important dates

The last date to apply for NEET 2020 is December 31, 2019.

Admit card for NEET 2020 will be available on March 27, 2020 on the NTA website.

The results for NEET 2020 will be declared on June 4, 2020 along with the final answer key and qualifying cutoffs.
