Sharing the winning potential as the rest of the RC range, the KTM RC 125 promises to offer a premium big-bike feel.
KTM has created a huge fan base in India since its entry in 2012.
The Austrian motorcyle company has an unparalleled legacy in motorsports with over 300 world championships.
The all-new RC 125 gives biking enthusiasts an entry into KTM's high adrenaline world of supersport motorcycling.
With design inspired by the KTM RC16, the fully faired bike is adept on conquering the track and street alike.
The RC 125 is a true KTM loaded with the best of motorcycling technology and engineering.
It comes with KTM's iconic steel trellis frame, upside down front suspension by WP and triple clamp handlebar to provide top of the class handling.
KTM RC 125 ABS is currently available in two colour options.
It uses the same 124 cc single cylinder engine which generates 14.3 bhp of max power @9250 rpm and 12 Nm of peak torque @8000 rpm
Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via 6-speed gear box.
The Duke 125 is a performance-oriented bike and loves being pushed to the red line.
The front end is dominated by the LED headlight, a meaty 43 mm upside down fork at front and monoshock with 10 step adjuster slots at the rear.
The upside down suspension offers a stiffer and more planted ride.
To enhance its performance, the RC 125 gets single channel ABS from Bosch which offer impressive braking power.
KTM's RC125 is provided with 300 mm disc brakes in front and 230 mm brakes at the rear.
Single channel ABS is offered as standard across all variants.
Speaking at the launch, Sumeet Narang, vice president (Probiking), Bajaj Auto said "KTM motorcycles are built to a purpose of winning performance and handling. It is no different with the RC 125 which will provide a true KTM experience to the motorcycle enthusiast seeking to enter our Supersport world. It carries Moto GP genes from its sibling, the much celebrated RC16."
Sharing the winning potential as the rest of the RC range, the KTM RC 125 promises to offer a premium big-bike feel.
At Rs 1,47,213 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), it may seem a tad too expensive.
But when you look at the quality of the hardware and performance of the bike, the price is justified.
