The sky's the limit when it comes to pastels and these outfits are sure to make you start planning your summer wardrobe.

Even if you have been working from home and barely get a chance to dress up, one can't ignore the power of pastels.

They are soothing, might not stand out but will make an obvious statement and are beautiful year-around.

As we approach summer -- the best season to sport pastels -- it comes as no surprise that celebs have already started embracing the trend.

Alaya F was recently spotted in a lovely cotton silk kurta palazzo set from The Loom.

The rose coloured silhouette was gorgeous to say the least, and it's hard to ignore how comfortable she looked in the traditional Indian separates.

A departure from her usual style, the actress has surely inspired fashionistas to add this colour to her wardrobe.

Her look reminded us of a similar outfit that Mrunal Thakur had worn to the airport.

Bringing in some sunshine along with her in an yellow chanderi asymmetrical kurta worn with pants, she had us already dreaming of summer vacays.

A classic silhouette, the bright yellow hue looked so fresh and pretty.

Close on Mrunal's heels were Shanaya Kapoor and her mom Maheep Kaur Kapoor, who embraced their love for pastels in a blue and yellow look.

The beautiful mother-daughter duo were dressed in the same chanderi kurta from The Loom which Mrunal wore.

Giving fans a cue on how to dress effortlessly in pastels, it's nice how they chose a subtle colour of pop for a festive occasion.
