Delhi Capitals captain Axar Patel has won the toss and has elected to bat first in their must-win IPL encounter against Chennai Super Kings at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Lungi Ngidi returns to the Playing XI for DC in place of Kyle Jamieson. CSK have made two changes, bringing in Akeal Hosein and Gurjapneet Singh.

"Important game in the tournament, but we are not worried too much about the points. We have played well, and points will come automatically. I think we have batted and bowled pretty well, could've done better in the field. One change - Lungi is back for Jamieson," Axar said.

CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad said: "We were looking to bowl first. Looks dry and won't change much. We have improved since the first three games. Bowling has done really well. We want that momentum. Youngsters repaying the faith put in by the management. Akeal and Gurjapneet come in."
