Rohit walks back for five as Mumbai Indians slip to 22/3 in the third over.

RR 80-1 (5 ovs) vs MI | SCORECARD

After the heavy rain we had earlier, it is now raining sixes in Guwahati.

The experienced Shardul Thakur comes into the attack. Interestingly, Shardul was the bowler Sooryavanshi had hit for a six off the first ball of his IPL career last season.

He relives that memory by drilling a wide half-volley from Thakur over the covers for a six. The next ball is again wide and this time the young left-hander tonks it over the covers for another four.

Sooryavanshi gets an under-edge for a single to short fine leg before Jaiswal drives it along the ground to deep extra cover for one.

Thakur bowls a touch fuller and Sooryavanshi clubs it back over the bowler's head for his fifth six.

Thakur has the last laugh though! Sooryavanshi goes for the inside out lofted shot but fails to get enough power as Tilak Varma takes a superb catch on the edge of the boundary.

Sooryavanshi walks back after an entertaining 39 from 14 balls, with five sixes and a four.

The first ball is in the slot, full and on the stumps, as Sooryavanshi smashes it high over long-on for a six to get off the mark in thumping fashion.

The 15-year-old had hit the first ball of his IPL career for a six last season and he has now repeated the dose on the world's greatest fast bowler.

Sooryavanshi clips a slower ball on the leg side for one and Jaiswal also collect a single off his pads.

Sooryavanshi showing no respect to Bumrah as he carts the fast bowler's change of pace delivery over square leg for the second six of the over.

The left-hander looks in ominous mood as he heaves the next ball over midwicket for a six.
