India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni [Images] won the toss and elected to bat in the Twenty20 World Cup final against Pakistan in Johannesburg on Monday.

Virender Sehwag [Images], who was nursing a groin injury was left out of the side and Yusuf Pathan included in his place.

Pakistan too made one change to their side that played in the semi-final against New Zealand [Images], bringing in Yasir Arafat in place of Fawad Alam.

Teams:

India: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (capt), Gautam Gambhir [Images], Robin Uthappa, Yusuf Pathan, Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh [Images], Harbhajan Singh [Images], Joginder Sharma, Irfan Pathan [Images], S Sreesanth [Images], Rudra Pratap Singh.

Pakistan: Imran Nazir [Images], Mohammad Hafeez [Images], Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq, Shoaib Malik [Images], Shahid Afridi [Images], Kamran Akmal, Sohail Tanvir, Umar Gul, Mohammad Asif [Images], Yasir Arafat.
