In-form England [Images] bowler Matthew Hoggard [Images] is preparing for toil over the next five days, saying the wicket at Mohali, the venue of the second Test against India, would help batsmen and offer little assistance for bowlers.

Man-of-the-match in the drawn first Test in Nagpur, the Yorkshire paceman said the track would offer only a little bit of movement although he would know how the pitch would behave only when the first ball is bowled.

"The wicket is quite dry. Some cracks are already there and we would have to see if they widen up. It would be nice for the batsmen but hard for the bowlers," he said on the eve of the second Test.

He felt it would not be necessary to adjust his line for left-hander Yuvraj Singh [Images], who missed the first Test, in which the top six Indian batsmen were right-handers.

"You don't have to change your line for a left-hander; I'll bowl the same way I bowled in Nagpur," he said, with a dash of confidence that bordered on arrogance.

In fact, Hoggard left the Indian media stunned with his cryptic replies as he hurried through the press conference and did not answer more questions from the Indian journalists.
