Indian squad for England series to be named on Feb 23

The National Selection Committee would meet on February 23 in Baroda to pick the Indian squad for the first Test against England [Images] to be played in Nagpur next month.

"We are meeting on the first day of the England versus Board President's XI match at Baroda," Selection Committee Chairman Kiran More said on Tuesday.

More is in Pakistan to watch the last two one-day internationals scheduled to be played in Multan on February 16 and in Karachi on February 19.

India are slated to play three Tests and seven one-dayers against England. The Test series would be preceded by two warm-up games, the first of which begins in Mumbai on February 18. The second practice match will be played in Baroda on February 23-25.
