The administrative staff of All India Radio and Doordarshan staged a dharna on Friday at their respective stations across the country to protest against isparity in pay.
On Monday, more than 5000 employees of Prasar Bharti-run DD and AIR went on a
mass casual leave. "The government has made no effort to heed to the grievance of employees. So we have decided to continue with our nationwide agitation," Sangam Thankur, General Secretary, Akashvani and Doordarshan Administrative Staff Association said.
