Hutch Monday launched Mobile Hutch Shop, to provide faster service with online connectivity. It also launched 'My Hutch', a web self service for subscribers in Chennai.
Mobile Hutch Shop, designed by the renowned automobile designer Dilip Chhabria, will have three customer desks, an 'Experience' zone and a cheque collection box.
The shop will have a pre-determined route map and the schedule and the places of its visit will be announced. It will run 16 hours a day. Hutch has already launched this service in other parts of the country and has over 20 mobile shops in the country.
This Hutch shop on wheels in Chennai expects to carry out about 200 transactions a day. 'My Hutch' service will enable customers view and manage their Hutch account online from anywhere. The company is launching this service in a phased manner in India.
Hutch has a subscriber base of more than three lakh in Chennai and claims to have added about one lakh subscribers during the last quarter.
