Gestetner shuts manufacturing at Nashik factory

Gestetner India Ltd has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that in view of the manufacturing operations at Nashik becoming uneconomical, the management has decided to close down the manufacturing activities of its factory situated at MIDC Industrial Area, Satpur, Nashik with effect from beginning of the shift operation on January 12, 2003.

Consequently, the services of the workmen of the Nashik factory have also been terminated with effect from January 12, 2003, along with payment of legal dues, made to those workmen.
