Airfares may go up

Public sector oil firms on Thursday raised aviation turbine fuel (jet fuel) prices by up to 2 per cent, the second increase in three months.

Prices in Mumbai increased Rs 635.44 per kilolitre to Rs 35,714.43> per kl, an Indian Oil Corp official said.

Oil firms revise ATF prices on the first of every month.
