Q. Delhi electricity companies are asking for a minimum 40% raise in the electricity tarrifs .The fact finding commission has found out that the equipments they have purchased at an average cost of Rs500/- , their average purchase price is Rs100/- as per other discoms.However Delhi Transco says that they have spent the money correctly on purchasing quality equipments.I am quite sure that their demand of increase in power tarriff though absolutely unreasonable ,will be met soon by the Delhi govt.causing great hardship to Delhiites.But as such we do not have any remedy against it.Your comments pl
