Besides heading the CNP, Roemer serves on the Commission on the Prevention of Weapons of Mass Destruction Proliferation and Terrorism, according to his bio-data posted on the CNP website.

US has said that it is yet to take a decision on Lashkar operative David Coleman Headley's extradition to India, said Robert Blake, the Obama Administration's point man for South Asia, especially India-Pakistan relations.
The United States on Friday said it has briefed the Indian government about the progress made in the case of David Coleman Headley, who was nabbed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in October, for plotting a major terror attack in India at the Lashkar-e-Tayiba's behest."I know that our ambassador (Tim Roemer) has briefed the government of India on the case, and we continue to follow the case," State Department spokesman Ian Kelly told.
"I would like to say with respect to the Indians and Afghanistan that they have provided a very helpful role to the United States and to Afghanistan and to the region," Tim Roemer, the nominated US Ambassador to India, told lawmakers at his confirmation hearing on Tuesday.
