A man in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, killed his wife and then died by suicide, allegedly due to their inability to have children after nine years of marriage.
A man in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his twin sister to death following a period of emotional distress after a breakup. The incident occurred at their home, and the mother of the twins was also attacked when she intervened.
The Sikh community is up in arms against what they termed as 'desecration' of their holy book -- Guru Granth Sahib -- in Katia Patti town of Uttar Pradesh's Pilibhit district, about 350 km from Lucknow.
Altogether 19 passengers died on the spot while two succumbed to their injuries on the way to hospital. The deceased included six women and five children.
