Yet another FIR has been filed against former Jharkhand chief minister Madhu Koda and 28 others by the Vigilance Bureau, accusing them of forgery and criminal conspiracy while awarding contracts to a Hyderbad-based company for rural electrification.
The ten richest among the 199 candidates in fray in the first phase of polling for Jharkhand assembly belong to Palamau division, according to an NGO involved in election watch.
Polling will take place amidst tight security in 13 Maoist-affected constituencies in the first phase of 5-stage elections to the 81-member Jharkhand Assembly on Tuesday.
