Police in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir, have arrested three alleged drug peddlers in two separate incidents, seizing a significant quantity of charas.
The move came against the backdrop of Turkiye backing Pakistan and its condemnation of India's strikes on terror camps in the neighbouring country and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir under Operation Sindoor.
He said the search operation turned into an encounter after the hiding terrorists fired at the security forces.
