It's raining marriages in the sporting world.
After the big fat super wedding of tennis ace Serena Williams to billionaire Alexis Ohanian last week, India football captain Sunil Chhetri will take the plunge on December 4.
And the celebrations leading up to the wedding week kicked off with a Sangeet ceremony on Monday.
The 32-year-old Chhetri, who is set to tie the knot with his longtime girlfriend Sonam Bhattacharya, looked dashing in a pink Sherwani. The bride-to be looked a picture of perfection and colour-coordinated in a hot pink lehenga.
A picture that made it's way to Twitter, shows Chhetri going down on one knee and slipping a ring into Sonam's finger.
Sonam is the daughter of legendary India and Mohun Bagan footballer Subrata Bhattacharya.
