Jet Airways on Wednesday inked a deal with Canadian simulation and training solutions provider CAE for supply of Boeing and airbus simulators.
As per the deal, the Canadian firm will provide CAE Simfinity Integrated Procedures Trainer for Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft and a Maintenance Flight Training Device for the A-330 aircraft, a Jet release said.
"These new simulators will help the airline provide high quality pilot training as we introduce the Boeing 777-300 ER to our fleet and expand our A-330 fleet," Jet Airways Chief Executive Officer Wolfgang Prock-Schauer said.
The new aircraft, which include 10 Boeing 777 300 ERs and 10 Airbus A-330s, are expected to join Jet's fleet starting from April.
CAE had supplied the two Boeing 737 new generation simulators currently under use at Jet's training centre in Mumbai.
