Three youth created a short period of pandemonium in the in-session Jammu and Kashmir assembly in Srinagar on Monday morning raising slogans.

While one of them jumped into the well of the house, two of his associates waved flags to what they said 'highlight the problem of unemployment in the state'.

The three youth from Jammu, identified as Manish Khajuria, Sunny Malhotra and Ambedkar Gupta, said they were from the Democratic Front party.

The house marshals immediately swung into action and were seen dragging the three men out of the state assembly.

The three youth got the passes on the request of expelled Bharatiya Janata Party member Jagdish Raj Sapolia.

The incident triggered a short period of pandemonium in the house as Speaker Mohammad Akbar Lone ordered the marshals to remove the youths from house and to initiate legal action against them.

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, however, denied it was a breach of security saying 'the men had come in on valid passes'.

Omar, however, admitted that unemployment was a major issue. He, however, refused to link Monday's incident with the recent visit of Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi along with corporate bosses to the Valley.

It must be recalled that Rahul Gandhi concluded his high profile two-day visit to Kashmir recently. Rahul brought a team of corporate bosses to the Valley to explore the investment ventures to address unemployment in the state.

The corporate bosses consisting of Ratan Tata, K M Birla and Azim Premji assured internship, campus placements and setting up of innovation centres for the youth.
