Played Feluda in two BBC radio plays, The Golden fortress and The Mystery of the Elephant God, in 2007. incredible fun. A USC film grad told me 'aranyer din ratri' was introduced in class as 'the closest to perfect screenplay ever written'. Was filming 'English, August' when Ray passed away. in tribute, Dev Benegal has me holding that newspaper headline in a shot.'
Sujoy Ghosh: 'today is happy birthday of satyajit ray. the man who wrote drew and told stories like no one else. the bestest ever. the problem with a ray film is.. you think this is my best one & then you realise.. oh there's that one also & that & how can i forget THAT.'
