Looks like Bollywood is becoming one of the hottest destinations for foreign actresses to make a name for themselves.

We have seen an influx of goris flooding Bollywood like British actress Rachel Shelly in 2001's Lagaan, Ali Larter in 2007's Marigold and recently, Hollywood actress Sarah Thompson Kane playing Ranbir Kapoor's girlfriend in Prakash Jha's Rajneeti.

According to reports, Sarah's character follows Ranbir from USA to India after he deserts her for political aspirations.

While we have to wait until May 28 to see Sarah in action, here's a look at the most recent foreign heroines, who wooed Bollywood.

Barbara Mori

Though we're yet to see this Mexican beauty in action, her chemistry with co-star Hrithik Roshan in Kites is already making the rounds.

The dance-based romance thriller is a bi-lingual film in English and Hindi, and is directed by Anurag Basu. It is produced by Rakesh Roshan, and has music by Rajesh Roshan. It is slated for a May 21 release.

The love story said to defy boundaries and cultures also stars Kangna Ranaut.

Kylie Minogue

Okay, so this was more a special appearance than a full-length role. Still, the Aussie pop singer was catch for 2009's much-touted film, Blue.

It's another thing that the film bombed at the box office.

The Aussie singer was paid a whooping figure to appear in the most expensive Hindi film ever made, starring Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Lara Dutta and Katrina Kaif.

The 41-year-old star danced to Chiggy Wiggy with Akshay, which was one of the few highlights in the film.

Denise Richards

Hollywood actress Denise Richards made her Bollywood debut in Kambakkht Ishq, again with Akshay Kumar. In fact, she even shared a kiss with him. The film saw guest appearances from Sylvester Stallone and Brandon Routh as well.

Denise admitted that she loved locking lips with Akshay. The former Bond girl is quite impressed with Kumar's kissing skills and is adamant no man in Bollywood can match him.

'Akshay was so down-to-earth and very genuine. He made me feel very comfortable, plus he's a good kisser! I can see why he's India's sexiest actor!' Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

She admitted that she struggled with the language barrier but got a helping hand from her co-stars. 'All the actors were very sweet and gorgeous! They helped translate when I needed to understand something. I had a great experience and hope to do another Bollywood movie,' she added.

Jacqueline Fernandes

Playing a hot college girl comes easy to Miss Sri Lanka 2006.

Jacqueline made her Bollywood debut in Sujoy Ghosh's fantasy film Aladin, which starred Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Ritesh Deshmukh.

All she had to do was look pretty, which as we can see is a piece of cake.

Giselle Montero

This Brazilian beauty was, in fact, mistaken for a real Punjabi kudi, and was the best kept secret of last year's hit Love Aaj Kal.

Giselle was lucky enough to bag Imtiaz Ali's film through a model coordinating agency, and played Saif Ali Khan's kudi effortless.

Florence Brudenell-Bruce

Formula One racing driver Jenson Button's former girlfriend Florence Brudenell-Bruce was also seen in Love Aaj Kal. She claimed to have the time of her making the film even though she had a grouse with the industry.

The actress, who played Saif's Caucasian girlfriend, said that when it comes to Bollywood, blondes do not always have fun.

'I would really like to do another Bollywood film, but unfortunately, I have blonde hair and fair skin and there aren't that many parts out there for people who look like that,' the Telegraph quoted her as saying.

Naomi Campbell

We all know that the supermodel knows how to rock the runway.

But her Bollywood debut, Karma, Confessions and Holi, opened to dreadful reviews and empty theatres in India.

Directed by Manish Gupta and co-produced by Robert De Niro's daughter Drena, the film also starred Sushmita Sen and Randeep Hooda.

Claudia Ciesla

Naomi wasn't the only foreign import in Karma, Confessions & Holi. Claudia Ciesla, a German model, actress and singer, also starred in it.

But it was the television show Bigg Boss 3 that brought her instant fame and made her a household name across the country.

She is now set on staying in Mumbai and learning Hindi in the hope of breaking into more films.

Lena Christiansen

Thai beauty Lena played Jasmine, a medical camp volunteer during the day and sex worker at a massage parlour during the night in Nagesh Kukunoor's light-hearted film, Bombay to Bangkok. The film that also starred Shreyas Talpade was a complete washout.
