PIX: Bachchans, Madhuri attend English Vinglish premiere

Sridevi's English Vinglish opened to a great response today.

The film was premiered at PVR in Goregaon, a western Mumbai suburb, on the evening of October 4 for the film industry, and quite a few stars descended on the red carpet.

The leading lady of the film arrived with her producer husband Boney Kapoor and daughters Jhanvi and Khushi.

The Bachchans, who were spotted at the Chittagong premiere a day ago, arrived to watch the Sridevi-starrer.

After having worked with the actress in the 1992 film Khuda Gawah, Amitabh Bachchan makes a cameo appearance in her comeback film.

Madhuri Dixit, who recently bonded with Sridevi on the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, flashed her famous smile as she arrived at the premiere.

She was accompanied by husband Dr Sriram Nene.

Sridevi's younger brother-in-law Sanjay Kapoor was present at the premiere with wife Maheep.

Sonakshi Sinha, who wore a shirt dress to the do, was accompanied by mother Poonam Sinha.

While Kangna Ranaut went for a short pleated dress, Tabu chose a green sari with a cutout blouse for the premiere.

Bipasha Basu took a break from the shoot of her film Aatma, and arrived for the premiere. She looked refreshing in a colour-blocked Masaba Gupta sari.

Yesteryear actress Poonam Dhillon and Madhoo were also spotted at the premiere.

While Vidya Balan looked great in a bright coloured anarkali, Zarine Khan opted for a body con dress to show off her toned body.

A visibly pleased Gauri Shinde was accompanied by filmmaker husband R Balki.

English Vinglish happens to be Balki's first production venture.

Cinematographer Baba and his actress wife Tanvi Azmi made a rare appearance at the premiere.

Actresses Tisca Chopra and Mandira Bedi dressed up in black and white outfits.

Yash Chopra, who recently celebrated his 80th birthday, attended the premiere.

Konkona Sen Sharma looked good in her red outfit.

Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker arrived with wife Sunita.

Actress/entrepreneur Shilpa Shetty turned up with husband Raj Kundra.

Actress and television show anchor Ayesha Takia was present with restaurateur husband Farhan Azmi.

Dino Morea was accompanied by fashion designer friend Nandita Mahtani.

Director Rajkumar Hirani was spotted catching up with Ila Arun at the event.

The film's producer Rakesh Jhunjhunwala posed for pictures with actress/singer Suchitra Krishnamurthy.
